Gwangju Blog's Autumn Photo Contest

You probably know that Koreans are very proud of the way that Korea looks during the fall season. For that reason, Gwangju Blog is holding an autumn photo contest for the remainder of this month. This contest is open to anyone who has taken a photo of autumn in Korea that they would like to share with Gwangju Blog readers.

The contest will be divided into two parts:

From today to November 30, Gwangju Blog will be accepting submissions from contestants. Multiple entries are encouraged. Our judges will select the top ten photos from the collected submissions.

On November 30th, the top ten photos will be posted for our readers to vote for their selections. In addition to listening to our readers' opinions there will be a panel of judges comprised of professional photographers.

The prizes are as follows:

Third Prize: (three winners) 10000 Won Culture Gift Certificates (문화상품권)

Second Prize: 20000 Won Culture Gift Certificates

First Prize: 50000 Won Culture Gift Certificates

The winners of the contest will be announced on December 6th.

The Latest Winners for Gwangju Blog's September Photo Contest

The results are in and six winners for the photo contest have been selected. Gwangju Blog would like to say thank you to all the people who sent in photos and a special thanks to the finalists.

We will be running more events in the future so please come back often to learn about what Gwangju Blog has in the works.

Gwangju Blog will be contacting the winners to arrange the delivery of 2 tickets for the Gwangju Biennale.

Chuseok Photo Contest

Gwangju Blog is holding a photo contest this September. This is a chance for our readers to win two tickets for the 2010 Gwangju Biennale. This contest is open to anyone who has a photo of "Chuseok" that they would like to share with the Gwangju Blog readers.

The contest will be divided into two parts:

From September 15 to September 30, Gwangju Blog will be accepting submissions from contestants. Our judges will select the top ten photos from the collected submissions.

On September 30th, the top ten photos will be posted for our readers to vote for their selections. In addition to taking our readers' opinions there will be a panel of judges comprised of professional photographers.

The winners of the contest will be announced on October 4th.

Six sets of two tickets for the 2010 Gwangju Biennale will be given to six lucky contestants.
