Well, since everyone else and their dog will be writing about the World Cup and the Red Devils I thought that I would do something completely different. No 2010 World Cup today for me. However, congratulations to Korea for winning their game against Greece on Saturday night.

On to the baby elephant...

This little creature is the newest edition to the Oochi Zoo (우치동물원).  It was reveled last year that So-Yi (쏘이), the baby elephant's mother, was pregnant. So-yi gave birth on June 3rd  at 3:20 AM. She remains in great health. Zoo staff have given the new arrival the name of Oochi (우치) after the zoo.

Oochi is in extremely good health. He weighs in at roughly 80 kg, 70 cm tall and sports a 30 cm long trunk.
