Andrea and Trevor: also known as "Those Singing Canadians"

A couple of enthusiastic native English teachers have recently created a new educational program and will volunteer their weekends for a more eco-conscious Gwangju. The project named: E.A.E.P. is a program aiming to facilitate learning amongst elementary students through a variety of fun hands on activities, songs and games. The program is the brain child/ art creation of Andrea Hildebrand of Canada who owns a degree in art and design from OCAD in Toronto. The program will be presented during regular Saturday school scheduling in elementary schools here in Gwangju starting in June. Gwangju Teachers should stay tuned to see how they can take part.

EAEP will be hosting a fundraiser on June 1st at New York in the Kitchen Gallery Café (second floor), located across the street from First Nepal restaurant downtown.  Opening time is 8:30pm and music will finish around 12:00/12:30pm.  The event aims to raise much need funds for the program to cover start up, and ongoing costs.  There will be a small cover charge at the door and Trevor Homeniuk and Andrea Hildebrand will play three sets of acoustic, mostly original music.  Prints of Andrea’s illustrations will also be for sale to help raise money.  Andrea and Trevor would like to cordially invite all to join us for a glass of wine, and an evening of acoustic music and art.

Contact Andrea for more information at 010 – 9198 – 4771.

Hope to see you there!
