Gwangju Blog is introducing a new point system to reward our contributors and to get our readers more involved. You will be rewarded points according to what sort of activity you do on Gwangju Blog. It is a fairly simple system as you can see from the chart below.

Once you have collected 10000 points you can redeem those points for Culture Gift Certificates (문화상품권). 10000 points equals one 10000 won gift certificate. These gift certificates can be used like cash at many shops around Korea.
You must register on Gwangjublog.com in order to start collecting these points. On the homepage please click under the little guy where it says "Write". Once you do that, you are set to go and start building a pile of points. You can always keep tabs of how many points you have by clicking on Setting then dragging down to Change Point.
When you wish to redeem your points Gwangju Blog will send you your gift certificates.
